Threats to Wildlife

A fun fact of wildlife that most of the population doesn’t know is there a couple place left on the planet where the impact of people hasn’t been felt. Because of that wildlife around the world is facing a lot of major threats, like habitat loss, climate change, pollution, invasive species, and overexploitation. Habitat loss is the biggest issue since so much land is being cleared for cities and agriculture. Climate change also makes it harder for animals to find food, migrate, or adapt to new environments. On top of that, problems like poaching, illegal wildlife trade, and disease keep putting even more pressure on already vulnerable species.

Pollution

Pollution is a major threat to wildlife because it damages habitats, poisons animals, and disrupts ecosystems. Chemicals from factories, farms, and cities can contaminate water, soil, and air. For example, oil spills harm marine life, plastic waste kills sea animals that eat or get trapped in it, and pesticides can poison birds and insects. Over time, pollution weakens species’ ability to survive and reproduce, leading to population decline and loss of biodiversity.
